Health care commentary full of falsehoods
I am astounded that the EVT would publish the commentary by Susan Stamper Brown regarding the Affordable Care Act. I fully understand everyone's right to free speech, canada goose chateau parka, but this commentary is so full of falsehoods, innuendo, moncler coats outlet, halftruth, and outright lies as to be a farce. Publishing this commentary is pretty much the same as supporting the right to yell fire in a crowded theater.
Ms. Brown suggests that 75 percent of the cost of the health care plan will be paid for by people making less than $120,000 per year. Guess what: over 95 percent of the people in this country make less than $120,canada goose kids,000 annually. How does that change things from what they are now?
She also suggests that we've been blessed my a free market health care system. Is that the same one that has resulted in health care costs here being two to fivetimes higher than anywhere in the world? We have sacrificed efficiency, common sense, moncler vest women, and fairness at the altar of the free market for far too long!
She also forgets to mention that those "new taxes" on capital gains are directed at those whose income is primarily from sources that are not taxed like the salaries of most Americans. It's time to end their "free ride" in the Medicare system.
This commentary is clearly biased against the President and, canada goose victoria parka, like so many others, Ms. Brown's hatred of President Obama is no excuse for the lies in this commentary. Get the truth out not the lies.
